Wandering and Wondering

The path through life is often the source of many questions. Am I doing what I am to do? Am I where I am meant to be?

When you cease asking questions and look around you will have your answers. You are ALWAYS where you are meant to be.

The FLOW of life takes you where it will when you allow it to carry you along. Acceptance of what life brings indicates you are in the FLOW, or on the path as you say.

Life may bring difficulties or bring sorrow. You may experience loss—of a loved one, an ability, a job, a home. It may bring moments of great joy and satisfaction, and you feel you are in the “right” place.

But nothing remains static when you are in the Flow of Life in God. You are ALWAYS in the right place.

ACCEPT ALL Life brings, and TRUST that each “place” you are in is the “right” place. For it is THERE GOD IS. It is there We are—accompanying you as you flow through this life.

You may say–

I accept this day and this moment just as it is. Whether it brings difficulty, sadness, or joy, I accept that it is mine to experience. I am in the Flow of LOVE.

INVITATION

This is an invitation—extended to all, by the one you call Wisdom (Spirit of God).

Bring your heart, yes, but bring also all those distractions of your world—the worries, shame, anxiety, concerns—and give them to me. They do not exist here, thus they will no longer exist for you when you give them to me.

Ah…it is difficult for you to let them go. You think they are a ”normal” part of your life—what makes you human. You cannot see what life would be like without worry and concern.

I tell you that is NOT LIFE.

The freedom you will feel when you no longer carry those burdens is LIFE. This is what God wants for you now.

Give me all that troubles you today. As you let them go to me they will no longer exist for you. We offer you freedom—freedom from the emotions that weigh you down. Acknowledge them, then let them go. This is what is meant by living in the Kingdom. Our greatest desire is that you begin to live in the Kingdom now.

We are with you always.

THE HEART’S INTENTION

Beyond the words you use to pray, or cry out to God, is your HEART’s intention.

God sees only that Heart’s intention—or, where your Heart ”is.” God does not see the ”sins” or mistakes, or missteps you make. Not the daily struggles with your human nature (ego). Only the heart’s intention—where your true Heart is. The place that is not a place.

Humans are more comfortable with things of the ego—your daily life in the Human aspect of yourself. Your schedules, meetings, tasks, work, etc.

This Heart’s agenda is Love, compassion, forgiveness, joy, play, and the sheer EXPERIENCING of each day. It lives in each moment—the joys or sorrows of it. It takes in the emotions of each experience.

The heart we speak of never “breaks.” In the human experience it may feel like it is breaking, but this Heart is more than physical. Some call it the seat of the SOUL. It is the portal, the doorway, to the full magnificence and wonder of God. This secret pathway of the Heart opens to the God that cannot be named. Where there is no suffering, no sorrow…only pure Love and Compassion, Joy and Light.

It requires QUIET to access this Heart portal. Once you have done so, nothing will be the same for you.

God (LOVE) is with you

Pay attention to the subtle urgings and messages you hear. Do not discount or doubt what you hear or feel. When a wave of emotion such as gratitude or joy or unexplained appreciation comes over you, it is LOVE breaking into your busy day. When you “hear” a quiet word of encouragement, it is LOVE.

Many are so focused on tasks or lists or work that they miss this “still small voice.” Take time in your day to PAUSE and be quiet. In that small moment LOVE can enter to offer you respite and draw you closer.

Allow the moment to refresh and energize you…to remind you of the wonders around you—even in the darkest times.

There is no moment God (LOVE) is not with you.

The Ears of the Heart

Blessings on all who HEAR God speak. This is more important to the world than you can realize now.

First, to HEAR you must find time and space for quiet. It is the “still small voice” that speaks to your heart when you quiet the noise of the world.

The second need to be able to hear, is to open the “ears” of the heart. Let your thinking, rational mind fade into the background. Do not fear—it will not go far. Let your open heart listen in the quiet peace.

Lastly, BELIEVE what you hear. Know that it is God speaking directly to you—in whatever formless voice God chooses.

We rejoice in YOU! Give it a try and share what you hear with others!

Through the Heart and Beyond

Look to your heart. It is the portal to the Universe, or Divine Consciousness. “Through the heart and beyond” should be the saying. 🙂 For when you get “out of your mind” and allow the larger, more spacious YOU (your soul self) to connect with Divine Consciousness you are THERE (which is of course always HERE! More on that later)

We say look to the HEART because it does not think from the human perspective. It is “neutral” you might say. From that place you are OPEN to begin to realize the greater part of You that is also Divine. This recognition allows the truth of You to be in your human awareness.

Read these words with the heart-mind and you will have the greater understanding they offer.

JOY

It is JOY who speaks to you now. JOY—the wondrous expression of the Universal LOVE.

The world’s idea of “happiness” is really the temporary human feeling when your needs or desires are fulfilled. When you can join your idea of happiness to My Joy, which exists always, unchanged, then you have connected to something that can be present in ALL your experiences.

Happiness is fleeting. JOY is present deep within always, and takes you beyond the within to the Wonders of God.

Share the Love that We, and YOU, are.

The Messages Resume

The Messenger group has returned. They tell me the world still needs to hear their words. So…we resume. 🙂 It is nice to be hearing from the heavens again. I will try to be a faithful “Scribe”—their name for me.

All creation is on the brink—again—and in this era the need for LOVE is more urgent than ever. The need for LIGHT and not fear. For JOY and HOPE and TRUST.

You ARE Love. You ARE a Light in the world.

Move—as slowly or as fast as you are able—to bring increased joy, compassion, and Love to your world.

You are Loved more than you could ever imagine. Come closer and share the Love that you, and We, are.

Mysticism and Mystics

Some take-aways from a recent weekend retreat/workshop on Mysticism:

We are all called to be Mystics in the world today. Actually many of you already are and don’t recognize it. Mystics come from all belief systems, all stages of life, and all parts of the world. We know many of them because they have left us writings. From some of them we can find the components for a Mystical life, identified in the workshop as Prayer, Self-Knowledge, Participation in the World, and Union with God.

It begins with PRAYER. Prayer is the beginning and continuing focus in our desire to draw closer to God. Praying from the heart and not just the head is a call out to God, so prayer, whether in quiet or as you move through your day, is a beacon to God. Words are not necessary. Sometimes I just bow my head and think, “Father.” It’s a huge prayer for me. Contemplation, Meditation, or Centering Prayer is important for a mystical life, but whenever your focus turns to God, it is prayer.

Mystics SEE GOD IN ALL—in PEOPLE, EVENTS, and all of CREATION. When we recognize God in everyone and everything, those things begin to look wondrous, amazing, and even miraculous. This changes not only what we look at, but it moves our hearts to a new place. Nature is a powerful teacher of this one. And I love the quote, “When you change the way you look at a thing, the thing you look at changes.” (Wayne Dyer)

St Teresa of Avila, a Mystic and Doctor of the Catholic Church, says if you would know God, know yourself. Mystics are real people who learn to trust their OWN experiences of God. Yusef used to tell me that. The way we know God and share God with the world is individual to each of us. Be yourself. Each mystic I have studied was different. That’s the way God works through us.

Mystics don’t isolate in a cave. They live in the world, doing what they are called to do with the gifts they have been given. Many were/are activists in their own way—never doubting their call from God to care for others (or the environment). All the events in our lives are invitations to share the mystic’s love. The mystic gives him/herself away, and asks, “How can I BE LOVE in my world?” And they aren’t afraid to speak up. They pray, then act from God’s inner guidance.

Union with God is merging our hearts and minds with the heart and mind of God. This is the “ultimate” for a mystic, sometimes attained while on the earth.

There is much much more, but perhaps this brief introduction and overview causes something inside you to stir. It is God. It is my calling to invite you to move from your head — the worries, concerns, and daily tasks in your life—to your Heart where you will meet your divine Self, and from that place you will bless the world.

Following Wisdom

So, Wisdom* is prodding me to share notes from my Journal. She says that you may recognize yourself here. It’s scary to me—I’m a very private person, but I will follow and post some personal Journal notes following this guidance. Ugh. I’m stepping out in faith my friends, but I find that following Wisdom/God is always better in my life. 🙂

Did you ever read or hear or learn something that went right to the core of you? Something that jarred your long held notions—those beliefs that have kept you on an even keel moving through life?

9-8-2021 “I am reading words that are so jarring and disturbing to me that I have lost my “balance.” I recognize the ideas somewhere within myself as important—even as truth—but it is beyond my human ability to comprehend right now. It seems to be bypassing my brain and going to another place deep within me.

I am discombobulated, disconcerted, and all those ‘dis’ words that are undoing me as I am, and moving me—nudging me to shift and grow in a new direction.

Not quite ‘ouch,’ but like a little earthquake—shaking me down deep somewhere. So now I am called to PAY ATTENTION. Not in a fearful, active way, but in a surrender…let it happen…way.

And the tremors from the shifting quakes arise into my life and cause me discomfort, as nothing is the same as it was a moment ago.

Ah…now I see. Now I recognize it. It is God—moving me out of my comfort zone and drawing me closer. The anchor to my little boat has been pulled up and I am adrift. Going with the wind and current of God’s call and movement.

I’m looking for something to hold onto. I miss Yusef and the words I could hear so clearly. But that voice is gone for now—something God often does to me—takes away the props, the supports I’ve grown used to.

So I will float on the wind and current of my loving God, surrendering in trust that I am held firmly in love…. And with that ‘giving-way’ comes JOY, sweet in its reassuring presence. The JOY-God says I AM HERE. I AM IN ALL THIS. Oh that feeling…!!

And I say, Thank You! Amen. So Be It.”
